Paying for your ad tools in local currency: what changes

No dollar card needed. How paying for your ad tools with your local debit card works, and what it means for monthly planning.

Pay with your local card

Many ad tools only accept dollar cards. For a lot of small businesses that means declined payments, extra FX charges, or borrowing someone else’s card.

What you pay Tenzu for — and what you don’t

You pay for Tenzu with your local debit card. Plans are charged in naira (NGN) through Paystack, and your bank converts it to your currency automatically. Your ad spend is separate: you pay Meta directly with your own payment method, and Tenzu never holds your ad money.

Why planning gets simpler

  • Your own card — no dollar card, and no borrowing someone else’s.
  • A fixed naira price — your bank shows what it cost in your currency.
  • Sales in your currency — your revenue and ROI are tracked in your own currency.
